Music Lessons
The school has a fulltime music specialist teacher and a modern music block with a range of music resources. The curriculum program includes singing, playing the recorder, music appreciation and reading music. Each class attends music lessons weekly.
Choral and Vocal Program
The school has a number of vocal ensembles; Mini Melodies for year two, Semitones for students from years three to four and Senior Singers for students from years five to six. Practices are held mainly at lunchtime and choirs perform on school assemblies and compete in eisteddfods. All children interested in joining a choir are most welcome, however, we ask both children and parents to make a firm commitment to attend practices and performances.

Semitones (year 3 - 4) - Lunchtime Wednesday
Senior Singers (year 5 - 6) - 8:00am Thursday morning
Instrumental Music Program
Students from years four, five and six have the opportunity to be involved in the Instrumental Music Program. Students attend lessons in school time. Students also have the opportunity to be part of an ensemble based performance program. Instrumental ensemble opportunities include concert bands, stage bands, string orchestras. A uniform is provided with a hire fee applied to cover cost of dry cleaning. Students participating in performance ensembles and their parents are asked to make a firm commitment to attend practices and performances for each specific group.
