As part of our HASS unit this semester, the Prep students have been learning about their families. To wrap up our studies this week, we decided to celebrate the amazing cultural diversity of our students and their families. The Prep students spent the day learning about the countries and cultures of their peers and participated in a number of fun activities. We were very fortunate to end the day with a live performance from Mr Hazm Khudedo (the father of Lavand in Prep C). Mr Khudedo played the Tambur (a stringed instrument used in Kurdish music) to the delight of the students. It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all!
